The Spanish Journal of Emergency Medicine (Rev Esp Urg Emerg) is a scientific periodical published by SEMES, the Spanish Society of Emergency Medicine.

The journal is published primarily in an electronic open-access format, in Spanish, with no fees for authors, adhering to the highest editorial quality standards (double-blind peer review, conflict of interest declarations, compliance with ethical research guidelines, animal welfare, etc.).
Rev Esp Urg Emerg considers for publication manuscripts written in Spanish (and alternatively in English for international authors) in the following sections: original research articles, short original articles, reviews, consensus documents, scientific letters, and letters to the editor.
